What are SOIELA products?

SOIELA offers mulberry silk essentials to care for skin, hair and sleep: pillowcases, sleep bonnets, sleep masks, and scrunchies.

What kind of silk do you use?

We use long-fiber, grade 6A mulberry silk.

Pillowcases and bonnets are made from 22 momme silk. Sleep masks and scrunchies are made from 19 momme silk.

What does “momme” mean?

Momme is a unit used to measure the density of silk.

The higher the momme count, the denser and more enveloping the fabric generally is.

Are your products certified?

Our textile items are OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified, certificate no. 21.HCN.83824.

This certification indicates that the items in question have been tested for harmful substances according to a recognized standard.

Does the certification only apply to the fabric?

No. Depending on the scope of the certificate, the certification may also take into account components related to the finished product, such as threads, dyes, finishes, elastic, and textile labels.

How do I care for silk?

We recommend hand washing in cold or lukewarm water with a gentle detergent suitable for delicate textiles.

Avoid chlorine, tumble drying, strong rubbing, and prolonged direct sun exposure.

Can I return an item?

Yes, you have 14 days from the receipt of your order to request a return, provided the item is unused, unwashed, undamaged, and meets the return conditions.
